Take a guided tour through Middleton Place’s original gardens, as well as the camellia garden added in the 1950s. You’ll spy the 1786 ‘Reine des Fleurs‘—one of the first camellias planted in the country—plus hundreds more varieties. Reservations are required. Middleton Place, 4300 Ashley River Rd. LETTUCE GROW MORE VEGGIES
