Save the Light Half Marathon & 5K

Back in 2000, a grassroots organization called Save The Light formed, dedicated to ensuring that the 1876 Morris Island Lighthouse wouldn’t be swallowed up by the sea. But preserving such a landmark isn’t easy—or cheap. Help raise funds for needed repairs during this half marathon and 5K that finishes at the Tides Hotel with post-race snacks and awards. Folly Beach Pier, 101 E Arctic Ave., Folly Beach.
