The Party: Hosted by Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, the 14th annual Bus Shed Bash was a Lowcountry extravaganza like no other. Guests gathered in the Visitor Center Bus Shed, which was transformed into the perfect open-air bash, complete with endless tables of all-you-can-shuck oysters and Lewis Barbeque’s signature Texas hot guts (sausage), pulled pork, and brisket. After getting their fill of classic Southern eats, guests spent the evening mingling and dancing along to a live performance by the crowd-pleasing Josh Brannon Band. Rounding out the night, executive director Carole Swiecicki spoke briefly about Dee Norton’s mission and thanked the crowd for their support. Proceeds from the party benefitted Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit organization that steps in to advocate for children who are victims of abuse.
