Natalie Taylor Bily - Shop Owner Vieuxtemps

Community Spirit: After working in education and the nonprofit sector, I branched out into retail. When the stars aligned for me to buy Vieuxtemps, the shop became an exciting means to support the community in new ways, like events and collaborative campaigns.

A Lasting Legacy: Vieuxtemps (formally Brittain’s) has been known as the premier bridal registry in the Lowcountry for more than 50 years. We still offer those fine selections while carrying new lines and products that cater to our walk-in and local clients. Whether you need a big wedding gift, or just something small to take home to your dog sitter, we’ve got you covered.

Family Affair: My mother is my co-buyer and a trained artist: her impeccable eye for design helps keep our store offerings and displays fresh.

Go-To Gifts: Our GurglePot pitchers are fun for people who entertain a lot. Locally harvested and handmade Boysterous bow ties are perfect for that friend who has everything. French Quarter Spice Mixes are great for the chef on your list. And our beautiful hand-dyed Paige Hathaway Thorn silk loveys are perfect for new moms and babies.

Wedding Must-Have: The champagne saber: it really makes a splash—literally sometimes! I used ours to pop the first bottle of champagne at my own wedding in October.

Registry Reminders: Don’t forget the special pieces. You’ll forget who gave you a toaster, but the crystal stemware or fine china plates will always bring fond memories. Your registry should reflect the years ahead.
