Charleston Marathon

Lace up your shoes to take part in a Charleston tradition. Beginning downtown and ending in North Charleston, the race covers 26.2 miles of the Lowcountry, while also offering half marathon and 5K distance options. Local bands and school and community groups are stationed to perform throughout the course to cheer participants on, with mimosas and shrimp and grits awaiting runners at the finish line. Joe Riley Stadium, 330 Fishburne St. Saturday, 8am. $129-$54.
